Meet Danielle
Danielle Bax joined our team in May as a Junior Intern working in business and engagement. Born and raised in Burbank, California, she came to Iowa to attend Drake University to earn her BFA in Musical Theatre and a minor in Business Management. This internship gives her the opportunity to combine two of her passions: performing and business, especially in non-profit work. She is excited for the opportunity to bring people together through the beauty of live music.
Danielle enjoys staying involved. She is a member of Drake Theatre People, The Brocal Chords, Artist Advocacy Association, and works as a Box Office Manager at Drake’s box office. Danielle also loves to learn and has been on The President’s List at Drake University every semester of her college career. In her free time, she loves watching baseball and hockey, spending time with her friends and family, and going on adventures.
Danielle’s dedication to bringing people together through music and love for how performances can emotionally move people makes her a great addition to the CMA family. We look forward to working with her for the next couple of years!
Meet Elias
Elias joined CMA in May as our first ever High School Intern! A native Iowan, Elias is a rising senior at Urbandale High School. He works with our Senior and Junior Interns to prepare for Belin Quartet concerts and helps around the CMA office.
Outside of school, Elias plays bass guitar in a hardcore punk band with his friends and volunteers with the Urbandale July 4th committee to help with stage setup. In his free time, he enjoys spinning vinyl and CDs as well as exploring and networking in the Iowa music scene.
