Civic Music Association (CMA) is in search of a Junior Intern to join our team and support our tradition of producing high quality concerts and patron experiences.
Position Description and Duties
The 2025 CMA and Belin Quartet Internship is a 2-summer commitment, with in-person duties beginning in May and running through July. At the discretion of CMA, the internship may run through the academic year from August through April. The vast majority of work is completed during the summer months, with some time required for planning and preparation during the spring of each year. The first-year Junior Intern will work with the Senior Belin Quartet Intern and the CMA staff to manage the quartet for summer 2025. S/he will return the following summer as the 2026 Belin Quartet Senior Intern.
Duties will include, but not be limited to, marketing the Belin Quartet’s concert series, public relations, and concert production. Additional duties include, but are not limited to, assisting with the preparation, marketing, and ticketing of CMA season concerts, education/outreach activities, and other duties assigned by the CMA staff.
Hours per Week
Approximately 20+ daytime hours per week during the Belin Quartet Summer Season, plus some evenings and weekends.
Approximately 5-10 hours per week during the 25/26 academic year.
