Civic Music Association is thrilled to partner with the Greater Des Moines Young Professionals Connection for charitable and social offerings during the Joshua Redman Quartet concert on Saturday, September 28, 2013.  Members from YPC will be volunteering as concert ushers during the performance as part of their mission “to connect young professionals to the community through social, civic, charitable, and professional development endeavors.”

All Greater Des Moines YPC members receive a special discount to the Joshua Redman Quartet concert.  After the performance, Civic Music Association patrons and YPC members will be joining Joshua Redman and his band at Louie’s Wine Dive for a social networking post party.

“We are excited to welcome new faces to our audience at the Joshua Redman Quartet and are thankful for the volunteer service of the Greater Des Moines YPC,” states Carrie Clogg, Executive Director of Civic Music Association, “Joshua Redman is young, hip and one of the biggest names in jazz around, and I am confident this concert will be the perfect introduction for someone wanting to try something new. It is going to be an amazing night of live music, volunteerism and networking.”

Lincoln Dix, Charitable Chair for YPC states, “Young Professionals Connection is thrilled to have the opportunity to partner with the Civic Music Association. Based upon member feedback, the YP community craves exposure to new experiences, particularly the fine arts.  By providing the YPC membership with the opportunity to volunteer with the CMA at the Joshua Redman Quartet concert, we fulfill two of the core pillars of our organization’s mission; connecting young professionals to Des Moines through both a Charitable and Social aspect.”
