Emanuel Ax is one of the world’s most brilliant and versatile pianists, earning the respect and admiration of music lovers and critics around the world. A graduate of the Juilliard School of Music and a frequent recording and concert partner with Yo-Yo Ma, Ax now teaches at Juilliard and regularly performs with major symphony orchestras around the world. His first visit back to Des Moines since his debut with CMA in 1982, this will be a rare opportunity to hear one of the world’s most renowned pianists in a solo recital!
